Hello all
Below is information on how you may observe 2021 Ash Wednesday with Mariner UMC:
Wednesday, February 17
1) Noon - 1:00 pm OR 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
Drive-through or Walk up observance outside the Mariner UMC sanctuary. Pastor will pray with each person or family. He will also provide a packet of worship aids to take with you. This includes a small packet of ashes to assist in your personal or family Ash Wednesday observance. Pastor will not be applying ashes directly. Please wear masks.
2) Throughout the day:
Virtual online meditation led by Pastor Sam. This will begin airing on Facebook and the church website Wednesday morning. At the bottom of this message is a link for some printed material from the drive-through worship packet. We trust it will assist in your virtual Ash Wednesday observance and the beginning of your journey through Lent
We invite you to participate in one or both services as you deem best. God bless us all this Lent season.
